Lots of script-driven apps, especially paid content management systems, encode their files so as to ensure that they will not be reverse engineered or tampered with. Most of them use an application named ionCube PHP Encoder to do that, so when you get a paid script and you want to set it up in a website hosting account, a software instrument known as ionCube Loader needs to be present on your server. Without having it, you will not be able to install the script or if you somehow find a way to do this, it won't function properly since most of the script code will be encoded to a point where it can't be interpreted. That is why, you need to make sure that ionCube Loader is set up if you get a fresh hosting account and you want to use some paid web application. If you get a shared web hosting account and the tool is not present, it cannot be added because the entire server PHP environment shall have to be compiled again.
